Enameling Handicrafts Process

Handicraft Process | Beading | Bronze casting | Carving | Chikan | Embroidery | Enameling | Engraving | EPNS

Enameling is explained as some sort of art coloring or adorning a part of metal by blending several required mineral substances together.

Since it existence, enameling is thought to be as one of the most enthralling and stylish metal decoration. While traditionally metal decoration was solely carried out only on gold.

However, now a day's a lot of significance is also provided to metal decoration that is executed on metals such as silver, copper and brass as well.

In the preset era, the skilled artisans and craftsmen have experimented on a great deal of colors that can be used on gold in order to bring out the luster of this precious metal.

In enameling, the part of the metal that has to be is initially imprinted or lined out in a certain way. This is then followed by pouring the enamel dust of the desired color into the furrow.

This is then placed aside particularly in a red burning heating system that will allow it to melt to its required form and while that is being done you will also find that the colored fluid that was poured in has also been spread absolutely uniformly.

The next step followed is to provide the metal with a glossy and a polished look with a wet stone that bears a resemblance to blue copper.

While there is also another method that is widely followed where there are several wires which are either fixed firmly by gum or even joined to the surface.

However, there are several craftsmen who follow none of these but simply paint the exterior with either some sort of silicate or fusible paint in order to provide it with the required amount of heat, thereby making the colors melt.

Enameling is one type of handicraft process that is heavily used while making different types of jewelry.

Several multi colored beads are used to make attractive ornaments. According to latest market survey, Delhi, Jaipur and Nathdwara in Rajasthan are considered to be some of the most prominent centers where enameling worked upon a large scale.
